15 year old Taiwanese teen golf sensation, Lin Jie-en (林潔恩), the youngest golfer in the field at the 81st playing if the U.S. Women's Open being contested at Riviera Country Club from June 4-7, 2026, becomes the only golfer in the field to card a Hole-In-One during practice rounds. The precocious budding superstar hit a near perfect tee shot against a prevailing head wind to make an eagle in front of an adoring, passionate gallery who saluted the young lady's achievement with enthusiastic applause. Her father/caddie, Lin Zhengyao (林政燿) and her swing coach, Riverside, CA based Vincent Chen (陳世寰), who is one of the youngest swing coaches in golf, gave Jie-en the perfect coordinates to make her hole-in-one and have her brimming with confidence going into the Open. There was no work for her putting coach, Angel Martinez, on this hole.
